Moxie Tuesday: Fashion tip

Hey all!

One of the reasons I started my blog was to share with you what I have learned. I don't share for the sake of you revelling in my smarts, but I love giving practical helps that will help you become all that you can be.

With that being said, I want to start a lil something that I call Moxie Tuesday, which will help you to be courageous!

Today's MT moment has to do with fashion. Now, I am not a fashion maven, nor do I follow fashion like the news. However, I know what looks good on me, what compliments me, and what doesn't...and you can too!

Take heart if you count yourself among the fashion-challenged. No matter what age, stage, or size you are, you can reflect the BEST you there is!

Tip for the week: your clothes on the outside should reflect who you are on the inside. your fashion is an extension of you! You are not trying to make yourself a new person by your wardrobe...too many folks are trying to do that. No, you are unique, and your look can and should reflect that.

This doesn't mean you have to totally revamp your closet right away. Check out what you already have and what makes you feel snazzy and at your best. Keep those! Try not to wear clothes that you feel self-conscious in, that don't fit you well, etc. When you can do some shopping, go with a purpose and seek to add to what you have to build outfit sets. Read books that help you find out your body type/shape so that you develop (it's a process) a sharper eye for what will work for you.

God has given you a unique look. Don't try to emulate anyone else...just be you! Wear what drapes and decorates your figure well. Here's to the best look for you!

You are fearfully and wonderfully made,
Dee
