My nail polish FINALLY stays put!

Morning all!

I don't know about you, but I have been in search of the perfect nail polish routine. You have to understand that my nail polish would chip the DAY AFTER I would do my manicure! This is why, after I stopped wearing acrylics (at least 6 years ago) that I would never just go and get a manicure that I had to pay for. What was the point? So frustrating to take the time to do it or have it done, only to have it start to chip or peel the following day.

Soooo...imagine my delight when I found a combo that works for my nails! (I guess its like finding what works for your hair and sticking with it.) Here is what I do:

1. I use nail polish remover on all 10 to remove any oil, dirt, etc.

2. I put on one coat of Stickey by Creative Nail Design - the best ever base coat (it literally grabs the nail polish you are about the put on)

3. 2 coats of my nail polish of choice (anything from Revlon to Opi)

4. 1 final coat of Mabelline Express Finish quick-drying top coat, followed by 3-2-1 Quick Dry spray from Walmart

And....voila! We are done, and I have a manicure that can go the distance, usually 5 days or so, depending on what I am doing with my hands. How cool is that?

Here's to a pretty and low-cost manicure for you!

I have been considering getting acrylics again - but I don't want to spend the money or the time. I think that I will try this tip (after I let my natural nails grow) to see how well this will work for me. Thanks for the review!
