I am having a moment...
I am about ready to go to bed, but I have to let this be said: I am not in like with my hair!
There....I said it.
I've been growing it out, and by the end of June I should be able to do a bit more with it. However, like I told a friend yesterday, the hair I want is NOT the hair I have.
Anyone been there? Tell me your thoughts...pleeezeee!

I have DEFINITELY been there, numerous times. I remember the "coolio" stage when I was growing out my locs. HORROR!! LOL! Hang in there and you'll be thrilled with your hair soon enough! :)

I definitely understand your dileema...I try hard not to focus on what I don't have that I want but to love on what I have right now. I pray that my mind is set on God's standard of beauty and not my own or anyone else's. I try to look at myself overall and not focus so much on that one thing I wish I could tweak. While doing these thing I do research for healthy hair and growth. I try to be mindful in not letting those things to consume my research. I question myself why I want a certain look and see if it lines up with what the Lord wants. At the end of the day I would encourage you to pray for God's perception of beauty and when you least expect He'll give you the menial desires of your heart. :)
